I climbed the tree once more and languished in a leaf.
A beautiful day. Sunlight sparkling off the branch. Long & curved heading into the open. The leaf reflective & warm.
I came back and climbed further, and jumped, to another forest of short ancient trees with large leaves of history.
And back again, swinging between trees to the top of your trunk. The calbh clattering me back and drawing me once more to my favourite leaf.
